COLLECTION YOUR CAR
• You will be asked to present your driving licence and credit card accompanied by your passport or identity card.
• You will be given a Rental Agreement to check and sign. This will show any additional services and insurances you have asked for along with the relevant costs.
• You will be asked to check the car for any damage and sign to confirm this in Vehicle Condition Report. This helps us to assess whether any damage occurs during your rental.
• You will then be given the car keys together with a copy of the Rental Agreement, Vehicle Condition Report - and you are on your way!
DRIVER'S LICENCE AND AGE LIMITS
For groups B, C, D minimum age requirement is 22 with at least two year of valid driving licence is required.
For groups E, F, G, H minimum age requirement is 25 with at least two year of valid driving licence is required.
For groups I, J, K minimum age requirement is 27 with at least three year of valid driving licence is required.
RENTAL PERIOD
Rental periods are calculated on a 24 hour basis.
WHAT IS INCLUDED AND EXCLUDED IN THE RATES
Rates are inclusive of unlimited mileage, costs of lubrication and technical maintenance, insurance for the car and passengers. Petrol and other additional services on customer's account.
Vehicles are delivered with a full tank, and are expected to be returned back full. Otherwise, a service charge will be applied to refill.
ADDITIONAL DRIVERS
In order to have additional person(s) drive the car along with the original renter, the details of their driving licence(s) must be registered in the rental agreement at the time of issuing contract. Otherwise all insurance coverage become void and both the renter and the additional driver(s) will be held fully responsible legally and financially for any and all damages and losses to Avis's property as well as to third parties.
An additional fee is charged for each driver on per day basis other than the original renter.
DELIVERY AND PICK-UP
Free delivery and pick-up service is available within Baku Downtown during office working hours.
Service fee is charged for deliveries and pick-ups outside the Baku and from places where no Avis office exists.

DELAYED RETURN
If the vehicle is returned after the agreed return time, 1/3 of the daily rental rate is charged for every excess hour. If the delay is exceeded by 3 hours, the full day rental rate is charged e.g. the applicable rate.
PAYMENT
Payment is due upon completion of your car rental, and can be made using cash or by credit cards.
Avis accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Avis Charge Card
TRAFFIC FINES
Legal responsibilities resulting from traffic violations that incur during the rental period are charged to the renter.
AIRPORT SURCHARGE
Surcharge is applied at Pick Ups and deliveries in Baku HAydar Aliyev International Airport.

OTHER AVIS SERVICES
Special equipment, such as GPS, child seat or similar may be available at a small charge.
IMPORTANT NOTES
In case of an accident, the vehicle must not be moved from the accident site and the accident and alcohol reports must be obtained from the nearest police station in order to have the insurance of Collision Damage Waiver remain valid. And Insurance Companies authorized person must be informed about accident. All contact details of ınsurance company is in the vehicle documents. For further and detailed information, ask for Avis's Insurance Protection & Waivers brochure or consult Avis office.

INSURANCES
For Avis, it is a must that the renters are fully insured by the way law orders and to make insurance offers according to the customers requirements. There are three types of protection insurances offered by Avis. The first type is the Collision Damage Waiver, second type is Theft Protection, third type is the Third Party Liability Insurance. For detailed and further information, ask for the Avis's Insurance Protection & Waivers Brochure from your travel agent or Avis office.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
When you rent a car from AVIS, you will be asked if you wish to purchase Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with an additional charge. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not an insurance, but an optional coverage. It covers you against financial responsibilities for any damage to AVIS car due to collision as long as you are in compliance with the terms of your Rental Agreement. It is noted that (CDW) is limited to cover AVIS car only. If you do not purchase (CDW), you will be responsible for any damage to the rental car due to collision or any cause other than perils specified at the back of your Rental Agreement.
To obtain (CDW), you must print your initials into the acceptance box labelled "Collision Damage Waiver" and pay an additional charge day as shown in the table below accordingly.
In case of an accident, the vehicle must not be moved from the accident site and an accident and alcohol report must be obtained from the nearest police or gendarme station, so that Collision Damage Waiver remains valid.
Even if an accident report is obtained, the renter will be considered liable for damage to the vehicle and any other losses resulting from the accident, under the following conditions;
• The driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the accident.
• The accident occurs as a result of the legal speed limit being violated and this condition is stipulated in the official report.

Theft Protection (TP)
Avis also offers an optional protection for the rental vehicle. Theft Protection (TP) provides coverage for the theft towards your Avis car and for its components, provided that an official statement documenting the loss is obtained from the official authorities i.e. Police or Gendarme stations. The renter, by purchasing Theft Protection is not considered liable in the event that the vehicle or any of its parts are stolen. If (TP) is not accepted, the renter will be responsible for the loss of the rental vehicle and/or any of its components due to theft.
To purchase (TP), you must print your initials into the acceptance box labelled "Theft Protection" and pay an additional per day charge as shown in the below table accordingly.
Third Party Liability
This provides limited coverage for the third parties which are the persons in or outside the vehicle apart from the driver of Avis car or objects outside the vehicle. The coverage is against liability for causing death, bodily injury or property damage to third parties (maximum 5 persons).
CHANGING / CANCELLING YOUR BOOKING
Once you have made a booking online, you will be sent a confirmation email showing your reservation code. If you need to change your booking, simply select Change or cancel a booking.
